The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Vijayawada, invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on a contractual basis. The selected candidate will provide medical services at the RBI dispensary located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria

A. Educational Qualification

  • Possession of an MBBS qualification from a university duly recognized and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
  • Candidates with a Master’s Degree in General Medicine (MD) may also apply.

B. Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience as a Registered Medical Practitioner in any hospital or clinic.

C. Age & Category Requirements

  • Open to all categories (UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
  • OBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
  • Reserved category candidates must provide a Caste Certificate.

D. Location Requirement

  • The applicant’s clinic/residence must be within 3-5 km of the RBI dispensary in Vijayawada.

Salary & Benefits

  • Remuneration: ₹1,000 per hour (fixed for 3 years).
  • Conveyance Allowance: ₹1,000 per month (included in salary).
  • Mobile Reimbursement: ₹1,000 per month.
  • Holiday Duty Pay: ₹1,000 per hour (if required).
  • No additional benefits (PF, pension, leave, etc.)

  • Step 4: Medical fitness test before appointment.
