Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements for Deputation
- Candidates should be currently employed in the Central or State Government, Union Territories, Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, or Recognized Research Institutions.
- Age must not exceed 56 years as of the application deadline.
- Must be serving in equivalent or lower posts with relevant years of experience.
For Telecom Assistant (TA)
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have one of the following:
- A 3-year diploma from a recognized institution in:
- Telecommunication
- Electronics
- Electrical
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Cyber Security, Big Data Analytics
- IoT (Internet of Things)
- Instrumentation
OR
- A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in:
- Electronics
- Electronics & Communication
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
Service Experience
Must meet one of the following conditions:
- Currently holding an equivalent post on regular basis
- At least 5 years’ service in Pay Level 4
- At least 10 years’ service in Pay Level 3
For Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
Educational Qualifications
- Should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) from a recognized education board
- Must have typing proficiency:
- 35 words per minute in English, or
- 30 words per minute in Hindi
(Typing should be on a computer and will be measured by key depressions per hour)
Service Experience
- Must be in an equivalent role, or
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Pay Level 1 in the parent organization

Tenure of Deputation
