Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- The applicant must not be older than 64 years as of 1st May 2025.
- The contract may be extended annually up to the age of 65 years, subject to requirements and performance.
Educational & Professional Requirements
- The applicant must be a retired government officer, preferably from:
- Department of Telecommunications (DoT)
- Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)
- Other Central Government telecom-related departments
- Should have held a position at Level 14 or Level 15 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
Work Experience
- Must have at least three decades of professional experience in telecom or ICT infrastructure.
- Knowledge in the following areas is highly desirable:
- Coordinating and interacting with government departments and agencies
- Policy advisory in telecom services
- Liaison and regulatory engagement
- Strategic planning for telecom business growth
Salary Structure
- The selected candidate will receive a monthly consolidated amount, calculated as: Last Basic Salary + Dearness Allowance – Pension (before commutation)
This ensures fair compensation while accounting for the pension already being received by the applicant.
Contract Tenure
- The appointment will be on a contractual basis for one year initially.
- The tenure may be extended annually based on the organization’s needs and the individual’s performance, but not beyond 65 years of age.
Selection Process

- Vigilance Clearance: Clearance will be obtained from the department the candidate last served.

Key Responsibilities
