Eligibility Criteria

For General Manager (Signal & Telecom):

  • Must be an IRSSE officer working in Central/State Government Ministries, Railways, Departments, or Public Sector Undertakings.
  • Should be in the Functional Senior Administrative Grade (SAG), equivalent to Pay Level 14.
  • Must have at least 20 years of relevant experience in signal and telecom construction/maintenance.
  • Experience in metro railway signaling, particularly CBTC, is preferred.
  • Age must not exceed 55 years as of 1 January 2025.
  • Must be mentally and physically fit.
  • Must be free from any disciplinary or vigilance cases and not included in any secret agreed list.

For Additional General Manager (Signal & Telecom):

  • Must be an IRSSE officer working in Central/State Government Ministries, Railways, Departments, or Public Sector Undertakings.
  • Should be in Selection Grade, equivalent to Pay Level 13.
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience in signal and telecom construction/maintenance.
  • Experience with metro railways and CBTC signaling is preferred.
  • Age must not exceed 55 years as of 1 January 2025.
  • Must be mentally and physically fit.
  • Must be free from any disciplinary or vigilance cases and not included in any secret agreed list.

Salary Structure

  • Officers will continue to receive their parent pay as per the respective pay levels:
    • Pay Level 14 for General Manager.
    • Pay Level 13 for Additional General Manager.
  • Deputation allowance and other perks will be provided as per rules.
  • Additional benefits as per KMRCL HR policies will be applicable.

Terms of Appointment and Duration

  • Appointment will be on deputation basis.
  • Maximum tenure of deputation is five (5) years.

Medical and Other Standards

  • Candidates should be mentally sound and physically fit.
  • Should have a clean service record without any pending disciplinary or vigilance issues.
