Later, the duty location will shift to GAIL’s permanent office at Eastern Region Headquarters Building, Mauza-Murmu, Anchal-Nagari, Thana No. 229, District Ranchi.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Educational Qualification
- The applicant should hold an MBBS degree awarded by a medical institution accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience is required.
- Experience in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) will be preferred.
Registration
- Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Salary and Allowances
Consultation Charges
- The selected candidate will be paid at the rate of Rs. 2,500 per hour for the consultation period.
Visit Details
- No. of Visits: One day per week
- Duration of Each Visit: 2 hours
Conveyance Charges
- Travel expenses for local commuting will be compensated at the rate of Rs. 14 per km from the residence/hospital to the office, subject to a maximum distance of 30 km, or on an actual basis, whichever is lower.
Terms and Conditions of Engagement
- Type of Appointment: This is a part-time position offered on a strictly temporary basis.
- Initial Duration: The appointment will be for six months initially.
- Extension: Based on satisfactory performance, the tenure may be extended in blocks of six months. However, the maximum tenure will not exceed 3 years from the date of initial engagement.
- Working Frequency: One visit per week for two hours.
- Reimbursement Consistency: The consultation fee and conveyance charges shall remain unchanged for the entire period of engagement unless revised by GAIL.

- The candidate selection process will be carried out via a walk-in interview.
- Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are invited to appear in person.
- No written test will be held.
- Final selection will be based on performance in the personal interview and verification of documents.
