Job Announcement: Research Associates & Senior Research Fellows in Homoeopathy

The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), a premier research organization under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, invites eligible candidates to apply for the posts of  Research Associate and Lead Fellow in Homoeopathic Sciences. These posts are purely on a fixed remuneration contractual basis, intended to engage motivated and skilled professionals for research activities related to Homoeopathy across various Council institutes and units.

  • Interview Date for Research Associates (Homoeo): 11th June 2025 (Wednesday)
  • The interview for the position of Senior Research Fellows (Homoeopathy) is scheduled for Thursday, 12th June 2025.
  • Reporting Time for both interviews: 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Eligibility Criteria

Research Associate (Homoeo):

  • A postgraduate qualification in Homoeopathy awarded by a recognized statutory board, council, or university listed in the Second Schedule of the Central Council of Homoeopathy Act, 1973.
  • Enrollment in the Central Register of CCH or State Board of Homoeopathy.
  • Minimum 3 years of research experience in the relevant field.
  • Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on the date of the interview.

Senior Research Fellow (Homoeo):

Essential Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree in Homoeopathy from a recognized Statutory Board, Council, or University included in the 2nd Schedule to the CCH Act, 1973, with enrollment in the Central Register of CCH or State Board of Homoeopathy.
    OR
  • An accredited qualification in Homoeopathy obtained from a recognized university or institute, with valid registration in either the Central Council of Homoeopathy’s Central Register or a State Homoeopathy Board.
  • Minimum 3 years of research experience.
  • Desirable qualifications: NET/GATE/RET qualified candidates will be given preference.
  • Basic computer knowledge including MS Office, Internet, and e-mail is desirable.
  • Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of the interview (age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules).

Salary and Emoluments

  • Research Associate (Homoeo): Rs. 58,000/- per month (Consolidated) plus House Rent Allowance (H.R.A.) as per rules.
  • Senior Research Fellow (Homoeo): Rs. 42,000/- per month (Consolidated) plus House Rent Allowance (H.R.A.) as per rules.
  • The engagement will initially be for a period of 6 months, which may be extended based on performance and project requirements.

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of a walk-in interview conducted at the designated venue on the specified dates.
  • The selection will consider qualification, experience, and performance in the interview.
  • In case of a large number of candidates, a shortlisting process based on qualification and experience may be adopted. The Council reserves the right to hold the interview over multiple days if required.
  • Candidates possessing NET, GATE, or RET qualifications will be accorded priority for the Senior Research Fellow role.
  • The Council may maintain a panel of suitable candidates from which engagements will be offered based on future vacancies and requirements.

Place of Posting

Selected candidates will be posted at various Institutes/Units of the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy located across India. Normally, no transfer will be given once posted, but the Council reserves the right to transfer candidates to other units if necessary.

  • Interested and eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in interview at the venue mentioned below on the respective dates and timings.
  • Candidates must bring a duly filled application form (as per the prescribed format), along with self-attested photocopies and originals of all relevant certificates, including educational qualifications, experience certificates, mark sheets, Documentary evidence of age, caste certificate (where relevant), and a recent passport-sized photo.
  • No advance application or online application is required.
  • Candidates must bring the original documents for authentication at the time of the interview.
  • Candidates are advised to come prepared for field duties and research activities related to their assigned projects.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office, Internet, and e-mail is expected for independent work.
  • Travel and daily allowances will not be provided for participation in the interview.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • The selected candidates will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and will not have any claim for regular employment, as the positions are purely contractual.
  • The contract may be terminated without notice if the candidate’s conduct or performance is found unsatisfactory.
